Country-music star Miranda Lambert has recently debuted the music video for "Over You", the official second single from her gold-certified fourth LP "Four the Record" - The ballad was co-written with husband Blake Shelton, and it was inspired by the loss of Blake's older brother, Richie, who died in a car accident in 1991. You then may wonder, why didn't Blake record this instead? Well, according to Miranda; "After we wrote it, Blake said he couldn’t record "Over You" for himself or sing it onstage every night, but he would be honored for me to". There you go...it was the emotional connection with the song that prevented Blake from recording it. "Over You" is such a sweet tune, it's amazingly sung by Miranda, and I really hope it charts high. I know that'd mean a lot for Blake. As for the newly-premiered music video, it shows Miranda walking through a solitary wintry wood (the Cedars of Lebanon state park in Tennessee) - donning a vintage dress and a riding coat - letting the wilderness bring to life the lyrics of the heartfelt ballad. Where was she heading to? You'll find out in the last scenes. Touching stuff!
