Miley Cyrus Performs Songs From Her Experimental Album On "SNL"

Miley Cyrus was both the host and musical guest on Episode 1 of Season 41 of “Saturday Night Live”. The former “Hannah Montana” star performed live two tracks from her horrible and free experimental pop “Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz” album last night (Oct. 3). The chosen ones were “Karen Don’t Be Sad” and “Twinkle Song”.

Wearing simply outrageous costumes (Lady Gaga would be proud), M.C belted out both of her songs and delivered captivating and vocal excellent performances.

I’m not going to deny her performances were kind of interesting to watch, but that doesn’t mean I think now the music from this free album is great (well, “Twinkle Song” is alright. Miley’s touchy piano delivery made me change my mind).

In any case, I’m very surprised and curious to know how exactly did Miley score this “SNL” gig. I just don’t believe RCA paid for this appearance (to promote “Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz”? It can’t be). I’m sure Miley paid for this gig herself.

Thoughts?
