Mike Posner Covers Adele!

Oh no he did not! Mike Posner posted last Saturday on his official facebook page this cover version of Adele's soul hit "Rolling in the Deep". Posner covering the Queen? To be honest I was a little intrigued when I received this, should I hear it or no?, I said to myself. In the end, I did, and hopefully did not commit sacrilege to Goddess Adele in doing so, lol. Mike Posner is a good artist, has a few cool songs but his limited vocal range/ability is obvious, so I was a bit worried imagining how was he going to face Adele's high notes in the chorus. To my surprise, this was no simple cover work. Mr Posner actually put a little effort onto it, he CREATED a brand new beat to the song. Think of Robyn's synth 'beeps' and electronica melodies, add a mysterious atmosphere, and some, I dare say, sexy vocals by Mike Posner. It's different, he doesn't try to challenge Adele's song command, and kinda enjoyable. Check it out.
