Michelle Branch - Loud Music (Music Video!)
Can you believe it's been SEVEN years since Michelle Branch released her flawless sophomore album "Hotel Paper"!? Although hearing her 'comeback' single called "Loud Music", it kind of feels she was never gone! Cuz "Loud Music" sees Michelle returning to her pop/rock roots - after a pointless attempt at country with The Wreckers - and anybody could perfectly think this is an unreleased track from the "The Spirit Room" or "Hotel Paper" eras. Yeah, it may feel a bit 'dated', but this relaxing pop/rock style is Michelle's signature sound! I like it! I'm a bit worry though, cause seven years out of the maintream segment, could make things hard for Michelle to pull a sucessful comeback. Let's just hope "Loud Music" brings memories to the listeners and make them request the single on radios. A Top 40 peak on iTunes Top 100 would be very important for Michelle too. And here's hoping she gets a TV performance soon! Her upcoming third studio album, confirmed to be titled "West Coast Time", will hit stores later in 2011.
