Meghan Trainor - "Dear Future Husband" [Music Video Premiere!]
Meghan Trainor stopped by this Monday morning (March 16) on "The Today Show" (NBC) to give a first look on her "Dear Future Husband" music video but it was only 30 seconds of it (we were expecting a full premiere there). Fortunately, #Meghatrons (as Meghan nicely calls her fans) didn’t have to wait a lot longer to appreciate the Revon Yousif-directed "DFH" visual in its entirety. Only a couple of hours later, the music vid was made available on VEVO. Watch below:
The super catchy doo-wop/pop "Dear Future Husband" is the newest single from America’s newest sweetheart Meghan Trainor’s “Title” debut album and is undoubtedly going to become a new chart-topping hit for the Massachusetts chanteuse. I don’t think it will top what the unexpected “All About That Bass” achieve (this will forever be Meghan’s highest career peak) but it’s definitely going to improve the performance of "Lips Are Moving”. "Dear Future Husband" is my personal favourite song on “Title” and I couldn’t be more thrilled it’s getting the single treatment now. I’m so ready to watch it climb all the way to the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
As for the newly-premiered colorful music video for "Dear Future Husband", it’s super fun to watch. It’s got a retro feeling, Meghan’s a retro housewife who doesn’t care to get dirty to get hat kitchen floor cleaned, but who will put his future baby daddy to the test in order to see if he’s “the one” for her, and there’s also a barbershop quartet. What more can you ask for? Oh yes, Ms. Trainor serving CURVES for days!
