Matt Cardle & Cee-Lo Perform On X Factor UK!

2011 X Factor UK's live shows kicked-off this weekend, and that means celebrity performers have begun hitting the stage at the ITV 1 talent-show too! On Sunday's results show, last year's X Factor winner Matt Cardle and American star Cee-Lo Green had the honour to be the first guest stars of the new season.

28-year-old Essex singer Matt Cardle broke the ice with a very correct performance of his new single "Run For Your Life", off his upcoming debut album "Letters" (October 14th). The power ballad was written by Take That's Gary Barlow who happens to be a judge on X Factor UK's new season. So I wish we had heard what HE thought of Matt's performance...but I guess that'll remain as a mystery to us, lol. What I personally think is that Matt did a good job tonight - I still like "Run For Your Life" (for real!), despite the plently harsh fan reviews - but to be honest, yes, Matt sang his new single pretty well, but he didn't transmit. First, I REALLY hope he gets rid of that guitar for the next performances. I know he knows how to play the guitar, but I don't think it is necessary for the "Run For Your Life" live performances. He just looks weird with it! Matt should also think of walking the stage, and work on his body language. Having said this, I'm sad for the guy cuz I'm sure he already knows, he won't get his much-desired #1. There's just too much competition on his single's release week. Rihanna is gonna get it AGAIN without a doubt.

Next was Cee-Lo's turn to hit the X Factor stage. And in a shocking move, he DID NOT perform his new UK single "Cry Baby". Instead, he 'delighted' viewers with a medley comprising his 'The Lady Killer' songs; "Satisfied" and "Forget You". I mean, what are you thinking Cee-Lo? Performing a one year old single? Uh-uh, I don't approve this. And this era must end noooow! He gotta let "Forget You" diiie.

What do YOU think of the performances?
