Maroon 5 Premiere New Single "What Lovers Do" With SZA: Audio
Maroon 5 released tonight, August 29, their new single entitled “What Lovers Do” featuring breakout R&B star SZA. This is the first collaboration by the Adam Levine-led band with a pure R&B artist (2008’s "If I Never See Your Face Again" featured Rihanna and the Barbados princess is really a pop act). “What Lovers Do” serves as the official third single from Maroon 5’s upcoming still-untitled sixth studio album, which will be released later in 2017 via Interscope Records.
“What Lovers Do” is a groovy song where Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine sings “You gotta tell me if you love me or not, love me or not, love me or not / I'm wishin' for you am I lucky or not, lucky or not, lucky or not” in the chorus. The track is about a guy really wishing for his dream to be with the girl he’s completely obsessed with to come true. Will SZA make Adam’s day?
