Mariah Carey Delivers TRAGIC New Year’s Eve “Performance” Live on ABC: Must-Watch

This was a moment Mariah Carey will never ever forget.

The ultimate music diva was scheduled to perform on ABC's New Year's Rockin' Eve special last night live from Times Square in New York City. Her being the very last performer before the much-anticipated 2017 countdown. And perform she did? Unfortunately not. Mariah didn't deliver a performance, she delivered TRAGEDY.

Mariah was ready to give the whole Times Square crowd and the millions of Americans tuning ABC to check out the countdown a medley consisting of "Auld Lang Syne", "Emotions" and "We Belong Together", and what happened was just... so embarrassing.

If you haven't seen "it" yet, a clue I can give you is that I'm sure that at that very moment Mariah was SUFFERING on that stage Jennifer Lopez and Ashlee Simpson were drawing big smiles on their faces, lol.

OMG!

Mariah's weird lip-sync of "Auld Lang Syne" already gave away something was wrong. But it wasn't till "Emotions" that everything went downhill. Apparently there was some kind of problem with her in-ear monitor. She couldn't hear the track and that's why she barely sang. And don't get me started on her attempt of still doing the choreography, lol. Her team tried to fix the issue for the last song, "We Belong Together", but the mess already too big it seemed. Mariah lip-synced "We Belong Together" but seeing everything had been a mess she eventually "let it go" towards the ending, letting the playback do her last long notes (UGH!).

Mariah finished the "performance" with a "I just don't get any better" comment to the mic. She knew at that moment that her career had just been dealt a terrible blow. I mean, for THAT MESS to happen 15 minutes before the end of the year and on ABC's most likely highest-viewed moment of 2016... lord have mercy!

She eventually chilled a bit and posted the below tweet earlier today:
