Luke Bryan - "Spring Breakdown" [Music Video Premiere!]
It’s sad but it’s true. “Spring Break…Checkin’ Out” will be the final “Sprink Break” EP that country star Luke Bryan will release ever. After March 10th (official release date for the seventh “SP” EP), there will be no more, and I’m very upset about it. There have been times that I’ve loved Luke’s “Spring Break” EPs more than his studio albums. And they sell rather well too! So, why stopping? I can only think that Luke wants to dedicate the time he spends on recording the “Spring Break” songs in other “more important” activities. I will mess them, though!
Anyhow, the first single from Luke’s last “Spring Break” EP, “Spring Break…Checkin’ Out”, is the song “Spring Breakdown” (such a convenient title and choice). The official video for the single was premiered on VEVO this morning (March 6) and it’s a party-themed one, as expected. Watch below!
The video premiere also marks the first time that we can listen to “Spring Breakdown” in its entirety as up to now we only had the 1:30-min snippet that iTunes had available.
Great (sad) song (I mean, who wants for a Spring Break to end?) and the video is what we all imagined it to be. It shows Luke Bryan performing at Spring Break beach and resort parties before massive crowds of college kids and scenes of him allegedly "recording" “Spring Breakdown” in the studio.
I was honestly not expecting a high-budget music video with a storyline for “Spring Breakdown” as it’s a trend already for Luke’s label to not spend a great amount of money on the “Spring Break" EPs' music videos, but I'm extremely happy that we have this particular music video today because with it we can also finally appreciate the full audio of “Spring Breakdown” - which I'm loving!
