Lorde is coming, it’s official.
First she teased the new era with a TV ad and now she’s properly previewing her new single. Confirmed to be titled “Green Light”, Lorde played a tiny snippet of her new song at a precise location she told fans to go to in her hometown of Auckland, New Zealand last night on loop. “Come to get my things, but I won’t let go. I’m waiting for it”, sings Lorde in the song extract.
“Green Light” sounds uptempo and anthemic! Could be it be her most mainstream song to date? We’ll see!
Lorde’s new single gets released on iTunes/Spotify on Thursday midnight EST (NYC).
