Listen To Tinashe's AMAZING Unreleased Track "Up We Go", Beats A Few Songs On "Aquarius"!

tinashe up we go

I can’t with Tinashe. Even her unreleased songs are bops! Check out “Up We Go” for instance. The Nasri co-written R&B/electronic track is said to be a demo from Tinashe’s highly-underrated debut album “Aquarius” and the mere fact it did not make the final cut into the tracklisting is just insulting to me. “Up We Go” is so superior to at least a handful of songs on “Aquarius” and my musical ear is telling me that should this had been on the album, it should have been released as official single and I am quite positive it would have become a crossover hit for Tinashe. What the hell was RCA thinking scrapping this? “Up We Go” is amazing.

This unreleased Tinashe track leaked online last night – Sunday, July 12. Will there be more unreleased coming our way? Hopefully because I bet they are as amazing.

The production of “Up We Go” has the perfect balance between R&B and electronic music, Tinashe sounds too beautiful in it and the lyrics speak of that honeymoon phase every new couple go through – and which they should cherish to the fullest in case an abrupt emotional crash messes up with everything.

Tinashe is said to be working heavily with Max Martin on the upcoming “Aquarius” follow up. And although I like how this sounds, I hope this doesn’t mean she won’t be giving us new “2 On”, “All Hands on Deck”-like urban bops.
