Lea Michele drops a new track called "Battlefield" off of her forthcoming debut studio album "Louder", which is released March 4th next year, but that becomes available for pre-order on iTunes starting tomorrow, December 28th. If you make your pre-order, you'll get the first single "Cannonball" and this brand new promotional cut as free downloads.
Starting today, every two weeks, the 27-year-old Glee star will liberate a new song from "Louder" until February 25th. The next selected tracks after "Battlefield". are:, "Louder", "What Is Love", "You're Mine" and "On My Way".
"Battlefield" is a piano ballad written by Sia. Lea's voice was made to sing ballads. She's too good at them. The piano-driven production is tender enough and goes well with Lea's lyrics rendition. These aren't Sia's most original lyrics of her career, though. She's done better in the past. But still, all in all, Lea's "Battlefield" is a pretty song.
