Listen To A Snippet of Carrie Underwood's New Single "Something In The Water" + See The Cover Art!
We're going to hear new Carrie Underwood music in exactly 3 days. On Monday, September 29th, at 6AM (ET), iHeartRadio will be giving the the first play of the country star's brand new single "Something in the Water". Is it all good news? Well, unfortunately no. "Something in the Water" is a brand new Carrie single but it isn't part of a new album but just a greatest hits compilation the American Idol star will be dropping on December 9th (Arista Nashville/19 Recordings) under the title of “Greatest Hits: Decade #1“.
Will the GH album feature more original songs? That's yet to be confirmed.
Carrie Underwood announced the news this morning (Sept. 26) on "The Today Show" and immediately after an announcement video was uploaded on YouTube for those fans who couldn't catch the NBC morning show live broadcast. In the YouTube video - watch below - Carrie is on the set for the photoshoot of her "new album" “Greatest Hits: Decade #1“. In her short speech, the country diva confirms "Something in the Water" as her new single. At the end of the video, a snippet of the song can be heard. Do not miss it!!
