Lil Wayne Reveals ‘Tha Carter V’ Album Cover & Release Date
Weezy season is amongst us. Sports and athletes have played a role in promoting Lil Wayne’s upcoming album ‘Tha Carter V’ and Wayne continued that tactic today with a visit to the ESPN studios. The Young Money rapper appeared on SportsCenter and FirstTake to reveal the album cover and release date, respectively.
The release of the album cover comes a week after Wayne delivered his new single ‘Grindin’ featuring Drake. Wayne chose to go a different direction compared to the previous 'Carter' album covers. "I always go with a baby picture and I wanted to go with my Momma this time" Wayne told the SportsCenter host.
'Tha Carter V', which will include Wayne's hit single 'Believe Me', is scheduled to drop in stores on October 28th. Wayne can currently be found on tour alongside Drake and that will be true up until the end of September when the tour wraps up.
