Legendary K-Pop Group 2NE1 Say “Goodbye” With Their Last Single Ever

2ne1 goodbye
2ne1 goodbye single

Just like Obama, legendary K-pop female group 2NE1 is saying their last farewell today. January 20th, 2017 will unfortunately be a day to remember to both Americans and South Koreans.

2NE1 is officially disbanding today having given their loyal fans their last single, a song called “Goodbye” that was released on digital stores today and whose music video got uploaded on YouTube today as well.

Some 2NE1 fans are hating a bit on “Goodbye” by saying they’re upset that CL got to sing 90% of it, with Bom and Dara sharing the remaining percentage. But you know what? The time for hating on the girls is not now. They are literally saying goodbye and we should be thankful they are giving us one last single (and it’s not about calculating how much time each one sings. They are a team. And they can make those decisions freely by themselves).

Goodbye”, written by CL, is a ballad that will definitely go out for your heart (there are English subtitles in the YouTube video for everybody to understand their Korean singing).

Evidently, Minzy (the member who pulled a Camila Cabello not renewing her contract and forced the ending of the group) does not physically appear in the video (rumor has it she wanted but her new management company did not authorize her) but she is “present” by means of footage display of old 2NE1 music videos and memories.

Hit or Miss?
