Lana del Rey 'Does Good' On BBC Live Lounge!

Lana del Rey 'Does Good' On BBC Live Lounge!

So was it really nerves' fault in the end? American singer-songwriter Lana del Rey, who was slammed by critics following her disappointing SNL performance last week, visited the BBC Radio 1 studios in London this week to offer an acoustic set for the 'Live Lounge' series. There, Ms Del Rey (born Elizabeth Grant) redeemed herself delivering solid vocal performances of her songs "Video Games" and "Born to Die".

She kinda slayed, didn't she? These live showings were certainly flaw-free. BTW, from Lana's recent responses to the SNL fiasco saying "You can't expect too much from my show", "I'm more of a studio singer", we kinda get the idea she literally freaks out when she's before a huge audience. A theory clearly proven in this 'Live Lounge' gig, since Lana finds herself in a 'in-studio' environment, with no audience, with her headphones and mic. There her nerves were gone, and her true vocals could shine without resistance. Don't worry Lana I know you CAN sing, and even if you suck 'live' cause of the nerves, your album "Born to Die" will still be remembered as one of 2012's best musical pieces. Just bought it!

Did ya like Lana's 'Live Lounge' showcase?
