Lana del Rey Debuts 'Ultraviolence' In Full at Vancouver Concert!

Lana del Rey performed the second-to-last concert on her soon-to-over latest North American tour. The beautiful New York City chanteuse sold out the PNE Amphitheater in Vancouver, BC, Canada on Sunday, May 25th, the same day her new album 'Ultraviolence' went up for pre-order on iTunes at midnight.

And knowing this was a key day for her, since 'Ultraviolence' would be one step closer to her fans thanks to the pre-order, Lana chose to do something special at her Vancouver show on Sunday. She didn’t perform the just-released promo single ‘Shades of Cool’, which would have been the most coherent thing to do, but another unheard new song from ‘Ultraviolence’... the title track!!! *hyperventilating*

That’s right, she debuted ‘Ultraviolence’ in FULL. The song is so beautiful and tragic. “Ultraviolence I can hear sirens, sirens He hit me and it felt like a kiss”, sings Lanita in the chorus. This sounded incredible live and you could tell fans in the crowd were going through an explosion of joy. We actually wouldn’t be surprised if there were some faintings. Having praised ‘Ultraviolence’, it does sound kind of (super) similar to ‘Shades’, and ‘West Coast', so hopefully there is some variety ultimately on Lana’s new album’.

In love with 'Ultraviolence'?
