Lady Gaga Performs 3 Of Her Biggest Hits Before 5 U.S Presidents
Lady Gaga was a surprise performer last night, October 11, at the “Deep from the Heart: One America Appeal” relief concert held at Reed Arena at Texas A&M University in College Station. Mother Monster performed a three-song live set (consisting of “Million Reasons”, “You & I”, and “The Edge of Glory”) before a crowd of thousands that included the presence of all five living former U.S presidents (Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter). The relief event sought to raise money for all those affected by the hurricanes that devastated entire communities in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Lady said at the event:
"I just want to remind you that when some of us are on the edge, we're all on the edge. We all sit around and we watch it on TV, and on the news and we feel on the edge with every single one of you even when even if we're not there. I hope every single person here tonight will join me in giving what they can to help these beautiful, vibrant communities recover. Please donate your time and your love. I really believe in everything that this incredible moment stands for."
President Bill Clinton couldn’t help but to shed a few tears for Lady Gaga’s moving performance.
