Lady Gaga Confirms No Guest Acts at Super Bowl Performance + Anti-Trump Dig Possible!
There goes our dream of seeing Lady Gaga and Beyoncé performing “Telephone” together at the 2017 Super Bowl Halftime on February 5th.
Billboard.com first reported it and now it’s Lady Gaga the one confirming it. There will be no other music stars joining her on stage at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas in two weeks.
See her clarifying Instagram posts:
It is believed, though, that “Uptown Funk” producer Mark Ronson, who heavily helped LG during the creation of her latest album “Joanne”, WILL be present (playing some instrument). But he is no “star”.
Little Monster hoped Lady Gaga would invite Beyoncé, Florence Welch or some unexpected diva for her Super Bowl performance but it appears that won’t be the case. It will be just “family”, meaning her dancers, band, etc.
In related Super Bowl news, rumor has it Lady Gaga, who is a self-proclaimed Democrat and Hillary Clinton supporter, will make some sort of anti-Trump political gesture during her show-stopping performance.
I personally don’t think it will be something too “nasty” or explicit but an intelligent and subtle Trump dig.
Anticipating?
