Lady Gaga Chooses ‘Million Reasons’ & ‘AYO’ For 2016 ’SNL’ Performances: VIDEO
Lady Gaga brought her already-iconic “Joanne” album cover pink hat along with her for her performances on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” last night (Oct. 22).
Performing on ‘SNL’ the day after the release of her fifth studio album was a smart, and no doubt an expensive, move by Interscope Records.
What did Lady Gaga perform? Just one tiny ‘headline’ before letting you know what she performed: She ditched “Perfect Illusion”…! Say what!? I was honestly looking forward to watch yesterday the first ever televised performance of the “Joanne” lead single. What happened!? Is Mother Monster already dissing this song for not performing on the charts as she would’ve wanted? She better perform it then on other TV shows in America next week. She better!
What Lady Gaga did perform on ‘SNL’ last night were “AYO” and “Million Reasons”. For the former performance, the NYC girl donned a showgirl meets country girl fringey outfit and writhed on the stage, while for the latter performance, Mother Monster kept it serious performing with her piano.
Episode 4 of Season 42 of 'Saturday Night Live' was hosted by Tom Hanks.
