Kylie Minogue - "Into The Blue" (Music Video)
"Into the Boring"? Kylie Minogue premiered this morning (Feb. 3) the music video for her new single "Into the Blue" on YouTube. The Mike del Rio-produced dreamy electro-pop track is the first offering from the Australian diva's forthcoming twelfth studio album entitled "Kiss Me Once", due in stores on March 17th.
"Into the Blue" was a grower for me. I kind liked it on the first listen, but it took me a few more listens to completely fall in love with it. It's a perfect pop gem. And yes, the chorus is very Delta Goodrem's "Sitting On Top of The World". Was it intentional?
Even though I am a fan of the song, I ain't a fan of the "Into the Blue" music video. Kylie looks amazing, but the visual it's boring. It's got both black and white and color scenes. The black and white scenes see Kylie strutting around the London streets like she only can, and doing a special one-on-one dance to her man. The color scenes see Kylie, her man, and friends having a blast bopping to "Into the Blue" at a lavish party. Mmm, boring much.
