Kiesza Is Back With New Single "Dearly Beloved": Listen Now!
Canadian singer Kiesza, who we fell in love with in 2014 with her debut album “Sound of a Woman” and with hits such as “Hideaway” or “Giant In My Heart”, is back stronger than ever.
2017 will be the year of her musical return. For in the upcoming months she will release her much-anticipated second studio album. For now, we can enjoy the lead single, aka. this song called “Dearly Beloved”, which Kiesza premiered tonight on Spotify. Starting tomorrow you’ll find it on iTunes.
“Dearly Beloved” is a track that falls in the intersection of disco music and funky music. It’s a cute feel-good track, with a vintage-y touch, and where Kiesza reminds people the good vocalist she is (the slayage in both the low and the high notes was real!). Yet, I always envision Kiesza’s TRUE hits to be danceable songs… so I’m hoping the Canadian princess is ready to give “Dearly Beloved” a cool club remix rather soon so I’m able to really dance it out in the club. The song, in its original mix, is super cute but not the chart-topper material I was expecting for the lead single.
