Kendrick Lamar fans won't have to wait until March 23rd to hear his second major solo LP 'To Pimp A Butterfly'. The Compton-born artist has released the clean and explicit versions of the album in its entirety on iTunes a week early. Whether or not the week-early release was planned is unknown as TDE CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith took to Twitter to vent his frustrations with Interscope regarding the album rollout moments after.
Led by 'i' and 'The Blacker The Berry', 'To Pimp A Butterfly includes a total of sixteen tracks from Kendrick. Listed guest features include names like Snoop Dogg, James Fauntleroy, Ron Isley, and Bilal. Instrumentals on the anticipated release are provided by Pharrell, Boi-1da, Taz Arnold, Thundercat, Rahki, Terrace Martin, and others.
