Katy Perry has just blessed us with the official making-of/behind the scenes of her latest music video for her “Witness” single “Swish Swish”. The Dave Meyers-directed basketball-themed goofy music video premiered in late August and to date it’s been viewed over 270 million times on YouTube. However, Katy’s been unable to translate those big video-viewing numbers into high charting positions. “Swish Swish” has only managed to peak at #46 on the Billboard Hot 100 and that’s, evidently, bad for Katy.
The just unveiled “making of” of the “Swish Swish” music video shows how some of Katy’s impossible tricks happened, and several of the guest stars speaking of their experiences shooting a Katy Perry video. Also, the lack of "real" Nicki Minaj in this “making of” confirms she shot her scenes elsewhere and never had contact with Katy. That means it’s actually “green screen” the scene of the music video where Nick throws the ball to Katy.
