Katy Perry Performs “Witness” Songs Live On “The Voice France”: Oh La La!
Katy Perry is currently promoting “Witness” in Europe. Last night, June 3rd, the American pop star paid a visit to “The Voice France” on TF1 to deliver two live performances of songs from her upcoming studio album. She performed “Bon Appetit”, without Migos, and “Chained To The Rhythm”, with a little vocal help from the remaining contestants of this latest season of “The Voice France”.
For the “Bon Appetit” performance, crazy cool Katy Perry hit the stage wearing a French chef outfit and she had backup dancers storming the stage with fruit costume pieces on their heads. While for the “Chained To The Rhythm” performance, Katy sounded stupendous hitting the long and high notes with much comfort and looking fabulous in a flowey dress, BUT what the hell went on with the contestants “The Voice France” who performed with Katy? Did they not rehearse, rehearse a little, or rehearse without Katy? One these options must’ve been the case because most of the times when they got to sing parts in this performance they sounded off and pitchy. But oh well, at least it seemed Katy had fun no matter what and she really seemed complicit with the contestants on stage.
“Witness” arrives in stores on June 9.
PS: Katy will fly today to Manchester, England to perform with Ariana Grande and other guests at the “One Love” benefit concert.
