Out of the thousands of applicants, Lakewood High School was picked as winner of the "lip dub contest" hosted by "Good Morning America" where Katy Perry would perform a concert live this Friday (October 25). The kids of the Lakewood, Colorado school had the best creative video performing Katy's hit single "Roar", and it was the California girl who gave them the huge news during a GMA episode last week. Fast-foward to today, Katy rocked out the Lakewood High School stage to perform cuts from her new album "Prism". Katy's October 22-released new album is en route to debut at #1 on Billboard's Top 200 chart next week with estimate first-week sales of 275-300k copies.
Katy Perry's set at Lakewood High School included; the #1 song "Roar", the old-school house-pop track "Walking on Air", and the oldie but goodie "Firework". Katy Perry was dressed as a "Tiger" cheerleader from the school's football team.
