Katy Perry Covers Rihanna & Willow Smith's Hits!
Katy Perry's 'The California Dreams World Tour' set sail over the weekend, February 20th, with the first concert held at the Campo Pequeno Arena in Lisbon, Portugal. Katy's setlist included songs and singles from both of her studio albums; "One of the Boys" and "Teenage Dream". However, halfway the concert Katy started performing covers! The California girl sang Rihanna's "Only Girl" (she even shouted a "Happy Birthday Rihanna!!" as the Bajan singer celebrated her b'day on February 20th) as well as covering Willow Smith's neck-cracking hit "Whip My Hair". These acoustic renditions were fantastic! The way she sang Whip My Hair's chorus was the deal! lol. I'm convinced Katy will continue doing this special 'covers' section on her tour, but most likely the songs will change. Will she try "Born This Way"? That'd be interesting.
