Katharine Mcphee Releases New Single “Lick My Lips” (Full) + Do Not Miss Its TRAGIC Cover Art!

Katharine Mcphee takes it back to the 90s in her new single “Lick My Lips”, whose official cover art is potentially the most tragic one I’ve seen in the last decade. I mean, she looks angry and so stiff in it, and LMAO at her death grip to the guy’s arm and to the fact her ratchet team used a snap from the music video shoot’s behind the scenes as the single’s artwork. It all makes you want to wonder; “is the song at least good?”. Well, the answer to this question is tricky. I do like the cheerful and playful vibe from “Lick My Lips” and that it feels summery, but my heart says that this isn’t first single material at all, and that it’s going to be a huge flop for Katharine, and I’m going to be so sad because I just adored her first two albums.

I don’t know exactly why she’s taking this route for her third album because it does feel a bit too risky but if this is the sound she’s “feeling” at the moment, then so be it. Even though I don’t think I’m going to be “loving it”, I am a fan of Katharine’s voice and I’m going to try to be as opened-minded as possible with the songs from her new album.

Anyhow, if this new album of hers (that's been in the works for about four years) turns out be the flop I’m worried it’s going to be, it’s all going to be okay for Kat money-wise because she has that new CBS series “Scorpion” to pay the bills now.
