Karmin - Crash Your Party (Music Video!)
American pop duo Karmin, who rose to fame thanks to their covers of Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj's songs on YouTube, inked a deal with Epic Records earlier this year to release with them their major label debut album, and although that project won't see the light of day til February 2012, we can already enjoy Karmin's first single, the groovy "Crash Your Party". Sampling the 1991 Black Sheep hip-hop hit "The Choice Is Yours", Karmin's song features funky fresh beats, an uplifting feeling, and swagga-fied vocals reminiscing to new artists like Jessie J and Cher Lloyd. I'm loving it! "Crash Your Party" was released on iTunes in October, and was sent to US radios only weeks ago, so they still got plenty of time to try and make this a hit. Added to the promotional efforts, Karmin premiered today (December 7th) via VEVO the official "Crash Your Party" visual. Watch above! So bizarre but so fun to watch, lol. Watch the real-life couple go down the stairs through a suitcase into an 80's colorful house, do the karaoke, escape from the paparazzi, blow the candles at a kid birthday party, among other random things.
