Kanye West Kicks Off 'Yeezus' Tour In Seattle, Brings Out Jesus Look-Alike (Video)
Last night (October 19th) marked the start of Kanye West's highly anticipated 'Yeezus' tour. Seattle, Washington's KeyArena venue had the honor of hosting the first show and even with a two hour delay, reports are that Yeezy delivered a inspirational and energizing performance.
Kendrick Lamar started up the show with a 40-45 minute set, which was made up mostly of songs from his platinum album 'good kid, m.A.A.d city'. Kanye then took over for the next two hours, performing cuts from his recently released 'Yeezus' album and running through classic tracks like 'Can't Tell Me Nothing', 'Hey Mama', 'Through The Wire', 'Jesus Walks', and more before closing out with 'Bound 2'.
'Ye has never been one to shy away from controversy and his Seattle show proves no different as attendees had the opportunity to see him converse with an actor dressed as Jesus. "White Jesus, is that you?" said Kanye before starting up his 'Jesus Walks' track.
