JoJo’s Killer Acoustic Intro At Her “When Love Hurts” Performance On ‘Jimmy Fallon’ Will Slay You: Watch!
Singer JoJo is currently very busy traveling across the US selling out intimate venues with a sort of ‘reconnection’ tour for fans, but she made a break from this road madness to attend “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” last night, December 1st, on NBC, in NYC. There, the Vermont singer offered one of the very few televised performances she’s done so far of the single “When Love Hurts”. As you must already know by now, the EDM ballad is one of the three new songs JoJo included on the “III” EP she released this summer, and it’s an appetizer of what’s to come from JoJo when she releases, via Atlantic Records, her new studio album in 2016.
Serving Dalmatian realness with her formal look consisting of a suit jacket and trousers, JoJo SLAYED MY SOUL from the very first second of her performance when she began with an acoustic/acapella intro of "When Love Hurts” with which she made jaws drop in the studio and across the US. What a voice! What an amount of EMOTION packed in just a few seconds! The rest of the “When Love Hurts” performance at "Fallon” on Tuesday saw JoJo, accompanied by The Roots and two back-up girls, sing her EP single with pure flawlessness. BTW: Totally loving the ‘ooh, oohs’ the back-up singers did throughout the performance. So hot.
At 24 years of age, it’s pretty clear JoJo is at her ‘prime’ vocally. She really needs to go in for the kill with her upcoming studio album. I expect only greatness!
