I love JoJo, but if you know you’re going to film a super boring music video, it’s better than you don’t do it and don’t make us waste our time watching it.

The 24-year-old, Atlantic Records-signed singer premiered moments ago on YouTube the official music video for her power ballad “Say Love”, which is one of the three new songs from the “Tringle” release, an EP that JoJo released on iTunes this summer as an appetizer from what’s to come on her upcoming third studio album.

The music video for “Say Loveopens with JoJo crying a river for her love, who's literally walking away, in theory to never return, watching him through her window at her room at her house in the woods. Seeing that he is serious about it, JoJo walks down to get him and continues to sing “Say Love” out loud outside, in the middle of the woods, without caring he’s still giving her a view of his back. As the music video moves on, and JoJo intensifies her singing and serves faces of painful heartbreak, other scenes will show us how the two lovebirds met. How will it all end? Will the guy finally turn back and return to JoJo’s arms? Click ‘play’ on the video below to find out! (but just watch it once, because overall this is one boring music video). If JoJo wanted to do something simple, then she should have done something minimalist but pretty. For example, just filming a close-up of her face singing “Say Love” in black and white. That would’ve been OK. But this senseless woods-based music video with terrible editing? Next.

What do you think of the video?
