Jhené Aiko - "Eternal Sunshine" [Music Video Premiere!]
Jhené Aiko is incapable of giving us unoriginal music videos. She always pushes the envelope with each single. Just take a look at the newly premiered Jay Ahn-directed clip for “Eternal Sunshine” if you don’t believe me. Did anyone see a treatment like this coming? Of course not!
The Key Wane-produced track has been chosen as the new single from Ms. Aiko’s “Souled Out” with the piano ballad being one of the many stand-outs from the album. Actually, the whole album is full of amazing songs. No fillers whatsoever.
The ‘tragic’ music video below was inspired by Jhené Aiko’s near-death experience she had back in 2013 when the L.A singer was in a car accident along with her daughter Namiko, Namiko’s father O’Ryan and sister Miyoko. In the ‘almost made it to Heaven but was given a second chance’ music video, there are also flashback clips from Jhené’s childhood played throughout that see the petite singer hanging out with her late brother Miyagi who died of cancer in 2012 and whom Jhené Aiko dedicates the “Eternal Sunshine” music video to.
