Jessie J has just unveiled the next single from her upcoming fourth studio album “R.O.S.E.”, which will arrive in stores later in 2017. Jessie J’s new single is the song titled “Not My Ex”. This one is a power ballad and its theme is about “a cautionary tale about carrying past romance issues into a new relationship”. Big ballad, lots of Jessie J amazing vocals, there’s no doubt many people will be able to relate to the lyrics but a “single”? This doesn’t sound like a “single”. It’s a very moving song but we don’t feel the “single” vibes. We also didn’t feel it in “Think About That” and we were right. “Think About That” didn’t chart anywhere. What is this “R.O.S.E.” project really going to be? An album? An EP? An experimental work? Because unlike Jessie J’s previous albums, the songs from “R.O.S.E.” so far clearly don’t sound for the mainstream market
