Jessica Simpson Debuts NEW SONG In 2016 Activewear Collection Commercial: Watch (Can She Pull A Music Comeback?)
Jessica Simpson has been teasing her return to music for the longest time, without anything real ultimately materializing, BUT it looks like that much-anticipated return is finally around the corner…perhaps!
Jess debuted a new commercial for her new The Jessica Simpson Collection activewear line “The Warm Up” today (Aug. 10) online and that 30-second promo visual features a brand new song from Ashlee Simpson’s big sister! (as she flexes and sweats it up in many items from the new sports line).

“I’m the kind of girl you won't forget about”, sings Jessica in the shout-y hook of her new song - which according to a press release she co-wrote with the one and only Linda Perry. Jess’ new song serves 60’s rock music realness. It’s badass, it’s vintage, and it shows Jessica really proving to the world that her potent vocals are still intact - despite not releasing an album since 2010!
On Instagram, in the caption of the commercial video, Jess wrote: “I'm the kind of girl you won't forget about… @jessicasimpsonstyle www.jessicasimpson.com #thewarmup #workforit @reallindaperry @amandler ...so much more to come...”. Is she referring with that “so much more to come” to the fact that more commercials for “The Warm Up” line are to come or that more music from her can expected soon? Even if it’s more snippets from this song in more commercials, I’m totally excited! I really hope that recording this new song has made Jessica to have an appetite for music again. It’s time for her comeback!
