Jennifer Lopez "Venus" Commercial Revealed!
Remember the Jennifer Lopez cover of Shocking Blue's 1969 hit "Venus" that leaked in mid-January? I informed you the RedOne re-worked track was going to be use on the upcoming new 'Gillete Venus' TV ad, and well, that has been released online today! Jenny from the Block entered RedOne's recording studio to work on "Venus" in the Autumn of 2010, and in October this commercial was shot, with Sophie Muller (Cheryl Cole, Beyonce) sitting on the director's chair. "Gillete" has hold up the release of the new "Venus" ad until the start of 2011, which was coincidentally the time when Jennifer debuted as the new judge on the new season of American Idol. I'd bet anything we'll see this ad during the show's emission!
In the commercial, we get to see Jennifer as a performer, celebrity, the dancer, the casual girl and the mother. LOVED IT!. I'm so happy for everything that's happening to Jennifer these days. She's got American Idol, the 'Gillete' campaign (that I'm sure will go global in the next months), and her new album that's coming out soon! Related to this, the "On The Floor" video will premiere any day now!
