Jason Derulo Performs TRAGIC Cover Of “Trap Queen” On BBC Live Lounge: Must-Watch!

So embarrassing! I wouldn’t be surprised if after this tragic cover of Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” this midday (Oct. 27) on BBC Radio 1’s “Live Lounge”, Jason Derulo had made the ground below him cracked and he had jumped into the void.

After his performance at the MTV EMAs over the weekend in Milan, Jason caught a flight to London, England to make an appearance on the Live Lounge sessions, hosted by radio personality Clara Amfo. On today’s show the 26-year-old singer performed two songs in acoustic mode. The first one was “Cheyenne”, from his album “Everything Is 4”, that is Jason’s most recent single in the UK, and later he performed a cover of the monster hit by Fetty Wap, “Trap Queen”. This song was a hit all around the world, but most importantly in the US, where Jason is from. Would it be fair to say that isn’t a single person in the US that doesn’t know the lyrics of “Trap Queen”? I would say ‘yes’, and if you work in the music industry then the ‘yes’ becomes a ‘totally yes’…but surely there’s an exception? Seems there is one, and his name is Jason Derulo!

This was one of the most tragic performances I’ve seen so far in 2015. Jason didn’t know the lyrics to “Trap Queen” at all, he had to relied all of the time on a sheet with the lyrics, and even with them, Jason didn’t get the proper timings of the song, he was completely lost, and couldn’t even read the lyrics properly. It was all a hot mess. If you want to end up your day with your a few laughs, then I recommend you to play the video below. And again, soon embarrassing!

Evidently Jason asked his band to repeat the chorus one last time at the end of the performance because he knew of the tragedy he had just produced, and thought that it would amend the situation, but NO SIR, this tragedy was impossible to erase.

Thoughts?
