Jason Derulo Links Up With Stevie Wonder & Keith Urban On New Song "Broke": Listen!

Jason Derulo has recruited legendary musician Stevie Wonder and country star Keith Urban to help him out in his song “Broke” that will appear on his forthcoming album “Everything is 4”, due in stores June 2.

“Broke”, an urban-influenced “Senorita”-esque (Justin Timberlake) track, was released today (May 19th) as the latest “countdown single” from Derulo’s fourth studio album. Check out a stream below:

Jason’s new song revolves around the idea of “more money, more problems”. He ain’t got much money and he’s afraid that the girl he’s interested in will pay him no attention for his lack of cash. But in the end, he realizes that he’s okay with missing out on the stunning yet materialist girl because he knows that with more money, more problems come, and he’s fine with the life he’s currently living. That’s a good moral for a song, huh?

Stevie sings the intro of "Broke", plays his signature harmonica throughout the song, while Keith Urban helps as co-producer by doing his thing with the guitar.

Pretty solid album song. Jason’s vocals sound terrific, I’m feeling the production, and the “Senorita” vibes, and it’s further proof that JD’s forthcoming “Everything is 4” LP is going to be a multi-genre stunner. Love it.
