Jason Derulo - It Girl (Music Video!)
Check out the world premiere of Jason Derulo's music video for "It Girl", the official second single from his upcoming sophomore album entitled "Future History" - in stores on September 27th in the US and out in Europe a couple weeks before - The Beluga Heights artist slows the tempo down just a bit for his new single, after the party-pleasing "Don't Wanna Go Home" cracked the Top 10 in several countries across the globe and made people smash the dancefloor. It's time to cool it down! I have to honest though, I was a bit worried about relasing a mid-tempo in hot August, when most people are enjoying the summer and looking to party, but I guess a good song will always perform well if it deserves it.
"It Girl" has already entered the Top 20 on iTunes USA and it appears to be en route to surpass the sucess of its predecessor "Don't Wanna Go Home", that's my feeling. "It Girl" will impact on American radios tomorrow, August 16th, and I'm expecting an immediate great airplay for it, which would eventually result on a decent Billboard Hot 100 charting. "Don't Wanna Go Home" only managed to peak at #14 in the US, so I'm rooting for "It Girl" to become Jason's first Top 10 hit of this new era. I mean, this is a good song in the end, I like the whistling, the lyrics and the melody. As for the half black and white, half in color recently premiered video, errr, sorry but it's boring. Jason hyped things way too much saying it was going to be a dope vid, but this is a snoozefest, sorry.
