J. Cole Disses Iggy Azalea On New Track ‘Fire Squad’: Listen
J. Cole’s recently announced third studio album ‘2014 Forest Hills Drive’ has been made available on the internet courtesy of an early leak. On the anticipated project, Cole has a new track titled ‘Fire Squad’ that is sure to draw extra attention with the mention of a one Iggy Azalea in the third verse.
‘Fire Squad’ spans just under five minutes in length. The line at Iggy Azalea comes after the halfway mark when Cole says "While silly niggas argue over who gonna snatch the crown. look around my nigga white people have snatched the sound / This year I’ll prolly go to the awards dappered down / Watch Iggy win a Grammy as I try to crack a smile."
‘2014 Forest Hills Drive’, which is titled after the address of J. Cole’s childhood home, is due to hit stores on December 9th. There have been no singles released from the album and it’s also important to note there are no features on the 13-track effort. Pre-order on iTunes and stream ‘Fire Squad’ below.
