Is The Cover Of Iggy Azalea’s New Album “Digital Distortion” Too Tacky Or Cool? See It Here!
Iggy Azalea keeps spilling the beans regarding details of her upcoming second studio album “Digital Distortion” on social media. In last night’s Twitter Q&A with fans (Feb. 2), the Australian raptress posted a short video in which she revealed the cover art for her new album. The cover is made of a photograph of the “Fancy” star, wearing dark clothes, a dark hat, and really flat-ironed hair, that gets distorted if you tilt it a bit. Ehhh… ok! I’m pretty surprised that her label, Virgin/EMI, approved this as the official cover for “Digital Distortion”. Since it’s not a simple photograph per se, but a cover made with a special material to give that distortion effect you saw in the video, it’s obviously going to cost more to make. And you know the math: more added costs, more copies Virgin/EMI is going to be forced to sell to make a profit. Not really sure they would dive into such a profit risk, especially when there’s the feeling out there that Iggy might flop with her second album. But whatever…it shows that her label still has some faith in her…despite Iggy recently dragging the president of Virgin/EMI. My first reaction to the cover was that it looked cool for it made sense with the theme of the album, but now that I think it over, it might be Iggy trying too hard.
I saw the first in-hand version of my album artwork today and i think you guys are gonna love it! Im very tempted to show everyone. lol.

Iggy’s lead single from the “Digital Distortion” album, "Team", doesn’t have a fixed release date yet but expect this to change very soon.
