Iggy Azalea Announces "The New Classic" Re-Release, Six New Tracks & Ellie Goulding Duet!
I knew it! Island Records is not ready to let the "Fancy" - "The New Classic" era to die just yet. We all knew “Black Widow” was the last song on Iggy’s debut album with “hit” potential. So the only thing I-G-G-Y had left to do was to return to the studio and start working on album #2. But Island don't want people to disconnect from the "The New Classic" era just yet. So what they've planned? They've made Iggy record a bunch of new tracks to throw them on an official RE-RELEASE! Yes! Habemus re-packing! I just knew it. "Black Widow" is going to be the last single from the original "The New Classic" and from now on all of the new singles will be from the re-release edition - which will be arriving in stores VERY SOON. (Hint: It’ll be your fave Christmas gift!)
Iggy Azalea confirmed the re-release news today (September 4th) via Twitter. In a first tweet, she mentioned of being at the artwork photoshoot for the upcoming "The New Classic" re-release, and that fans would get SIX brand new tracks on it. The good news didn’t stop there, though. In a second tweet, Nicki Minaj's worst nightmare confirmed that one of six new tracks will be a collaboration with none other than Ellie Goulding!! I'M NOT READY THIS SLAYAGE! Ellie and Iggy on a same track? Can you imagine “Lights” and “Fancy” combined together? Will it be the first single off the re-release? Fingers crossed!
