Cashmere Cat’s new album “9” is finally out in stores and that means one thing: the full version of his collaboration with Ariana Grande, “Quit”, is now available!
“Quit” is a grandiose “chill” house-ish track filled with goosebumps-giving Ariana vocals and WARNING lyrics. Say what!? Yep, yep. What would you do if your friends told you: “GURL, you crazy, he’ll suffocate you!”? Would you “quit” dating that guy? Anybody with a sensible mind would opt for the “leaving” option, but not Ariana. “I can’t quit you, and I know that I’ll regret it”, she sings. COME ON! Just because he told you “Baby, I just want you to lay me down and we'll fuck the pain away”? Don’t fall for that, Ari. THINK!
Please girls out there in the world, pay no attention to Ariana’s way of thinking in this song (lol).
Other than the worrisome lyrics, “Quit” is cool. A house beat and lots of LIFE-giving Ariana vocals? GIMME!
