Hear Tove Lo’s Risqué New Song “Influence” With Wiz Khalifa! [World Premiere]
What kind of flawless dark synth-pop song!?
Tove Lo just served deliciously addictive new music in the form of “Influence” today (Sept. 8). The Wiz Khalifa-assisted song can be streamed on Spotify now and it will be available on iTunes tomorrow. “Influence” is part of the Swedish songstress’ upcoming second studio album “Lady Wood” - in stores everywhere on October 28th.
“There's one thing I need you now to know 'bout me / You know I'm under the influence / So don't trust every word I say, I say”, sings Tove Lo in the chorus of her new track providing nothing but sensual/steamy vocals. I’m a bit confused, though, about what “influence” is Tove Lo exactly under… because the opening line threw me off a bit. “First line, take mine”, Tove Lo said. Uh-oh… Bad girl!

Basically this song is about having the night out of your life. And apparently in Tove Lo’s world being “under the influence” of whatever is necessary to make your night even cooler.
Wiz Khalifa’s verse was nice addition! He slayed a bit.
Don’t totally agree with the message of "Influence" but one thing’s for certain, though: I’mma lose my mind when it drops at the club!
Hit or Miss?
