Hear Fifth Harmony Cover Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" (Audio Premiere)
It’s here! Ever since it was announced Fifth Harmony would be covering Mariah Carey’s holiday anthem “All I Want For Christmas Is You” I’ve been seriously dying of anticipation! But it’s finally here! Epic Records premiered the full audio of the cover via YouTube but also made it available for individual purchase on iTunes this morning of Monday, November 17th. 5H’S “All I Want For Christmas Is You” rendition will be one of the seven tracks that will be included on Epic’s forthcoming “I'll Be Home For Christmas” album due in stores on November 24th. L.A Reid has assembled his best-selling label artists to make this “holiday” album happen and try to make Epic Records bid farewell to 2014 in the happiest way possible (i.e: with good sales!).

Cute. Did I expect it to be and sound better? Yes. But it’s cute. It seems Fifth Harmony weren’t fully ready to take on “All I Want For Christmas Is You” yet. But the cover is cute, and I’m sure Mariah will think of it as “another cute, teen cover”.
Is it me or do the girl’s voice sound a bit auto-tuned? There’s definitely something strange about them…but I could be wrong. What do you think?. Overall though, it’s a cute cover, very Christmassy and happy. Good they kept the original melody – as EVERYONE should – and good they did tweaked the production up just a bit so it wouldn’t just be a shameless copy/paste.
