Harry Styles Working with Bruno Mars & Max Martin for Debut Solo Album!
Would you say an album partially produced by Max Martin and with some of the song lyrics written by Bruno Mars sounds like one destined to slay the charts? I totally think so! And that's the case of Harry Styles' upcoming debut solo album. The former One Direction star has worked with these two talented men in the recording process of his first solo project, which will be released at some point in 2017 via Columbia Records.
The Max Martin and Bruno Mars support confirmation was made public over the weekend by Harry's fellow UK singer Robbie Williams. In an interview with Radio Times Magazine to talk about his newest album, the "Party Like A Russian" star talked how he reached out to Max Martin and Bruno Mars to ask them to work with him in "The Heavy Entertainment Show" but they ultimately silently rejected his proposal, HOWEVER when he ran into Harry Styles in an airport one day not very long ago he recalls he told him of a different "experience" he had with these two guys:
He wished "good luck" to Harry Styles, after discovering that the One Direction star, who is pursuing a solo career, had not had the same difficulties.
He said: "Last year I tried to work with Bruno Mars - didn't hear anything back. Tried to work with (Swedish hitmaker) Max Martin - didn't hear anything back. They literally didn't return my calls.
"Then I met Harry Styles in an airport. 'Oh, you're writing, Harry? Great, who with?' He goes: 'Well, I just spent a week with Bruno Mars, and I'm about to spend a week with Max Martin.'"
