Can you believe it’s already been 10 years since Gwen Stefani released her last solo album? That was “The Sweet Escape” in 2006.
Now the singer whose face can’t age at all is back this year with new music and a new album. Titled “This Is What the Truth Feels Like”, Gwen’s new musical project as a soloist arrives in stores tomorrow, March 18th, via her lifetime label of Interscope Records/Universal. Unfortunately for sweet Ms. Stefani, though, the full album leaked online a day before (today). But oh well, all in all, I don’t think a day-in-advance leak will hurt the sales of “This Is What the Truth Feels Like”. Gwen should actually feel quite lucky that her album didn’t leak earlier.
“This Is What the Truth Feels Like” will come in TWO EDITIONS. 1) The standard, featuring 12 songs, 2) the Target-exclusive deluxe, featuring 16 songs.
What producers helped Gwen make this project a reality? Tim Blacksmith, Danny D, Teal Douville, Mike Green, Greg Kurstin, Mattman & Robin, J.R. Rotem and Stargate.
The songs on the album are either inspired by Gwen’s divorce from Gavin Rossdale or her new found love in Blake Shelton.
