Before anything, please Green Day, please Billie Joe, do not perform "Kill The DJ" at the 2012 VMAs this Thursday. The song is mediocre. I'd give "Oh Love" one last chance. True, Uno!'s first single hasn't done much on the charts, or digital sales-wise but "Oh Love" is a great record, and I think it's only needing one huge promotion 'all eyes on me' platform, and the VMAs are clearly the place to go. If they rock it, "Oh Love" will climb massive positions on iTunes afterwards no doubt. As for "Kill The DJ", I just don't like the song. It offers nothing interesting. And its music video is disappointing as well. The visual opens with the three Green Day members riding their motorcycles across the desert searching for the nearest club where they'll cause a stir, and make all party-goers literally 'kill the dj'. The last scenes were gory much!
