Fifth Harmony, Shawn Mendes, Nick Jonas & MORE Perform at 2016 Much Music Video Awards In Canada [VIDEO]
The 2016 Much Music Video Awards, Canada’s most famous music awards, were held last night, June 19th, in the city of Toronto, Ontario - aka. Drake’s birthplace.
This year’s MMVAs ceremony was hosted by supermodel Gigi Hadid, aka. Zayn Malik’s ex girlfriend, the lead girl in the "Pillow Talk" music video.
Live performers at this year’s edition included Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Nick Jonas, Alessia Cara, Fifth Harmony, Tegan and Sara, Hailee Steinfeld, Shawn Mendes, and Desiigner.
It’s very hard but if I must choose a favorite performance from last night it’d have to be Fifth Harmony’s “Work from Home” performance. The girls are just on fire these days. But I also liked Shawn Mendes and Alessia Cara’s performances very much. Both really great exports from Canada.
