Fifth Harmony Reveal Cover Art For New Single "Down" / Gucci Mane Feature Confirmed

Friday is getting closer. And Fifth Harmony know it. That’s why the all-female pop quartet is keeping the promotion of their forthcoming new single “Down” on maximum level of priority this week. After teasing the lyrics a few days ago, Fifth Harmony revealed the official artwork for the song today on social media. The cover photo sees Lauren, Ally, and Normani standing, and Dinah sitting, all looking hot to death in sexy outfits without showing too much skin (Dinah serves “Yeezy” collection realness, doesn’t she?), and all giving the camera an intense look.

As some rumors indicated, and proved now right, “Down” by Fifth Harmony will indeed feature a rapper and that rapper is Gucci Mane (wasn’t hard to believe that 5H would have at least one song on 5H3 featuring a rapper, given the fact songs like “Work From Home” or “All In My Head (Flex)” had that “featuring a rapper” formula and they worked so well. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right?).

Personally, Gucci Mane isn’t my favorite rapper out there but I bet his verse was pre-approved by the girls for this song so I want to believe in the girls’ judgment and I’m sure Gucci’s verse will ultimately add and not detract.

Down” is released this Friday, June 2nd, and that same day Fifth Harmony will give the single’s first live performance on “Good Morning America”.

Afterthought: I’m curious as to why Epic made the decision to make Camila Cabello and Fifth Harmony go head to head. Isn’t this a bit counter-productive? In any case, it will be VERY INTERESTING who ends up being the winner of this “singles” battle. “Crying In The Club” vs. “Down”. IT IS ON! Which song do you root for?
